What an amazing view it must be seeing two of the largest ro-ro vessels in the world alongside each other on the Yangtze River, especially when they belong to DFDS. They might be empty now, but it won’t be long before they are filled with trailers as they accommodate bustling economic activity.
The two giants are both 237.4m long and 33m wide with capacity for around 450 trailers. They are expected to lift the service to a whole new level when they enter our route network in the North Sea from next year.
Thank you to Superintendent Jeppe Halkjær Pedersen for the picture. Be sure to keep sending us pictures, so we can keep an insight into the journey of our vessels being constructed in Jinling.
