DFDS took part in the informal mingle at Yrgo in Gothenburg, joined by around 30 companies and 100 students, to tell the students about our company and answer questions from the prospective trainees. Pictured is Sara Stenström, Truck Planner, Logistics – Sweden.
On 13 March the Logistics Division in Sweden participated at an exhibition for logistics and forwarding students at Yrgo Vocational College in Gothenburg, an institution from which we have hired many skilled young professionals.
“DFDS needs to be an attractive employer to be able to recruit the stars of the future, and Employer Branding is an area that we have prioritised this year within Logistics in Sweden,” says Mathias Dahlström, Director Sweden International.
Earlier in the week Logistics visited classes to present our company to the students, keeping their awareness of DFDS and what we do at a high level and staying interesting to the students.
“There was a remarkable interest for DFDS in general and the students asked a lot of questions, all my business cards where handed out and I had a lot of them with me,” says Örjan Bråten (right), Business & Operations Manager, Logistics – Sweden – Full Load & Automotive Desk.
