The annual Logistics Conference in Norway took place on 10 April. The area is strategically important and a hub for DFDS Norway that includes three of our vessel ports, Halden, Fredrikstad and Moss.
On 10 April the annual Logistics Conference Østfold in Norway went ahead, this time with DFDS as the main sponsor and with all major customers and logistics providers for the area taking part.
The conference presentations from Volvo Trucks, NLP, DRIW and other companies were focused on future technology and digitalisation. DFDS followed this up by marketing our DFDS Direct and My Logistics with running videos.
Julie Kromann Grundtvig, Marketing Assistant, Magnus Nilsen Fossum, Sales Executive, and André Vika, General Manager Sales, Process & Development, made sure that DFDS was well presented on walls, tables and screens, as well as with people and stands. There was no doubt in anyone’s mind who the main sponsor was.

This was the 10th year celebration for the conference, and first time with DFDS as main sponsor. What better way to mark the anniversary than with our own Jubilee Seaways Lego ship placed outside main entrance for all to see, and of course to guess the number of Lego bricks used to build it.
Feedback from customers and conference members was that the whole conference was lifted to a new level this year. We do feel we can take a good deal of credit for this sentiment.
Per Møller, Director of Door-Door business in Norway, and member of the Conference board said: “Both the conference and the main sponsor assignment were great successes!”
